The starting handicap for Christian was 14.5 (after slope applied) and he was adjusted to 13.6 for the first round based on his Gross Score. His handicap history was recalculated and reduced his second round handicap to 13.9 from 14.5. His second round Gross Score then adjusted his handicap to 13.1.
FYI. Christian has now played 86 rounds with IGTA and had only two rounds under 83, an 81 and an 80.

One feature built into the IGTA Scoring System worth noting. - In the event a player shoots a high number over par in round one, he has the opportunity of shooting the same number under par the second round, without being adjusted, to Net 144 for two days. PJ Carter (above) is an illustration of this provision, moving from 37th place to 12th. This provides incentive for player to play his best in the 2nd round, regardless.
